Gastric
Stomach is a hollow organ that is composed of several layers of strong muscles. Stomach lies below the rib cage and is connected to the esophagus as well intestine. After food is chewed in the mouth, past the esophagus to the stomach. Food mixed with stomach acid and enzymes to break down food into small pieces for subsequent nutrient absorbed by the intestine.
